Mohammed Toyin Sanusi Empowers People With N5.5M
A former Chief of Staff to Governor Ahmed of Kwara State and the current Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Senate President on Political Matters recently doled out a whooping sum of N5.5 million as empowerment to the people of Kwara.
The unassuming charismatic SSA has been silently providing succour to the needy and putting smiles on their faces.
The breakdown of the empowerment, carried out between January and June 2016, shows that 25 indigent students were provided with JAMB scratch registration cards at N7,000 each totalling N17,5000.
Similarly, fifty women received the sum of N50,000 to kick start or boost their various businesses. A total sum of N2.5 million was expended on this programme.
The former Ilorin West LG Chairman, Alhaji Mohammad Toyin Sanusi, equally provided financial assistance to people on health related matters. In all, thirty-seven people have benefited with seventeen getting N30,000 each while twenty people received N50,000 each. A total sum of N100,0000 was spent on health related issues.
Mohammed Toyin Sanusi’s financial assistance to students in tertiary institution is legendary. Thirty students of Polythecnics and Colleges of Education received N25,000 each while eight University students got N30,000 each.
Also, forty students from various Institutions of Higher Learning received N5,000 each for their final project works.
We can’t but commend Alhaji Mohammad Toyin Sanusi’s magnanimity and generosity. It’s indeed a service to humanity.
