Federal Medical Centre Ilorin: A Resounding Credit to Bukola Saraki – KAI
Federal Medical Centre facilitated by the President of Nigeria Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, sited in Ita-nmo area of Ilorin West Local Government has been described as a monumental development in the State of Harmony. This was gathered from the people while a 3-man delegation of the Kwara Advancement Initiative (KAI), including Mr. Lawal Surajudeen, the state coordinator and two other executive members, visited the construction site today, Friday 13th April, 2018, to have first-hand information on the on-going construction of the project.
According to statement signed by the secretary of the group, Sulyman Kamaldeen, the people whom members of the KAI interacted with near the site of this laudable project which is under construction, people of Oke-foma area and business men and women at Ita-Amoh market to be precise, unreservedly expressed their joyous feelings that this mighty project, when completed, would not only go a long way in boosting health services delivery to the people of Kwara State but also create direct and indirect jobs for thousands of Kwara and Nigeria in entirety.
KAI further expressed that, the Medical Centre would make Kwara State more reckoned with as the modern health gadgets to be provided would stimulate many people from other states of the federation to patronize the State, in search for standard and modernized health services. In addition, socio-economic development, employment opportunies for Kwarans and lots of others are not left out in the goodies which this project would bring to the State of Harmony.
They also asserted that kudos should be given to the Distinguished Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki for using his political influence to ensure that Kwara State eventually gained this federal government project amidst of serious competitions from other states in the North-central geo-political zone. At the end of this abridged interactive session, the people of Kwara State were urged to continue to throw their support behind the Senate President so that he can succeed in the capacity he is currently serving and bring more political goodies to the State.
