Hajia Sarat Commissions Two Self-Sponsored Boreholes in Ibagun Ward

The Chairman, Kwara State Local Government Service Commission, Hajia Sarat Adebayo, on Sunday 15th April, 2018 commissioned two motorised boreholes at Ibagun Ward, Ilorin East local government area of Kwara State.

The two boreholes which were personally funded by Hajia Sarat Adebayo were located at Onitiku area and Dabiri compound, Kankatu area of Ibagun Ward.

Speaking during the commissioning, Hajia Adebayo, expressed her gratitude to Almighty Allah (SWT) and her political leader, the Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki and her principal, the Executive Governor of Kwara state, Dr. Abdulfatah Ahmed for giving her the opportunity of serving the people of Kwara at various capacities in the state, which has afforded her the opportunity of giving back to the society that produced her.

She added that she has learnt the spirit of giving from the Saraki, who always finds peace in giving to the people at all times. She added that her monthly empowerment at Ibagun was to promote small and medium scale businesses among women and youth in the community.

Speaking on behalf of the entire community of Onitiku, Alfa Muhammed Sanni Olesin and Alhaji Aladifa, appreciated Hajia Sarat Adebayo for answering their call to provide them the motorized borehole to reduce the scarcity of water in their community. While appreciating Hajia Sarat, the community leaders prayed to God almighty for divine guidance, and protection for the Kwara political Leader, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki for his several developmental projects across the Kwara Central Senatorial District and beyond.

The community appreciated Dr Bukola Saraki for the construction of Babasoja road, the ongoing Onitiku road construction, provision of solar lights, boreholes, construction of blocks of classrooms, and other ongoing projects in ibagun and across the state.
