Over Two Thousand LG Workers Receive Promotion Letters in Kwara – Hajia Sarat
The Kwara State Local Government Service Commission today Thursday 26th April, 2018 presented a total of two thousand two hundred and twenty six (2226) promotion letters to the LG workers in Kwara State.
The Chairman, Kwara State Local Government Service Commission, Hajia Sarat Adebayo presented the promotion letters of the LG staffers across the 16 LGAs to their various Directors of Personnel Management (DPMs) for onward delivery to each of the beneficiaries.
Presenting the promotion letters, Hajia Sarat, urged the staffers of the local government across the state to be steadfast, committed and dedicated to the LG Service rules in the discharge of their duties. She urged them to key-in to the Policy Trust of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, to move the state forward and improve the lives of the people.
The LG Service Commission Chairman, Hajia Sarat Adebayo, assured the workers of the commitment of Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed on workers welfare at all times.
Speaking on behalf of the council of the DPMs and Truesurers, Alhaji Laitan Balogun, expressed their gratitude to the Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, for the release of the 2017 promotion letters to the Kwara State Local Government Workers.
The forum of the DPMs and Treasurers appreciated Governor Ahmed for the recent payment of the two months salary arrears to the LG workers.
In their appreciation, they thanked Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed for the choice of Hajia Sarat Adebayo as the Executive Chairman, Local Government Service Commission. They discribed her appointment as the round peg in a round hole.
The DPMs and Truesurers, on behalf of the entire LG staffers, pledged to be more dedicated and committed to thier jobs at their various levels across the State.
The Chairman at the delivery point, made a symbolic presentation to the DPM Oke-Ero, Hajia Shola Abubakar and the Ilorin West LG Truesurer, Prince M.A. Yusuf who were also beneficiaries. Other letters where presented to the DPMs of the various LGAs in the State.
