In continuation of her ward sensitization tour, the Chairman Kwara Local Government Service Commission, Hajia Sarat Adebayo on Sunday 14th October, 2018 visited Orisunbare Onitiku and Idiaro communities of Ibagun ward in Ilorin East Local Government Area of Kwara State.

For the past few months, Hajia Sarat has embarked on sensitization tour across wards in Ilorin to rally support for the Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki and the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the State ahead of the 2019 general elections.

While interacting with the people of Orisunbare Onitiku and Idiaro communities, Hajia Sarat lamented the rate of poverty and hunger in the country, and emphasised the need for Nigerians to vote out the APC-led Federal Government under President Muhamadu Buhari in 2019.

According to her, the PDP is well repositioned and poised to take over power from the ruling APC and deliver the much desired change and meaningful development to Nigerians. She, therefore, called on the people to vote the PDP’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 polls.

On the Kwara governorship election, she strongly affirmed that Hon. Abdulrasaq Atunwa remains the right man for the job. She urged the people to vote the party’s governorship candidate in Kwara, Hon. Razaq Atunwa and all the candidates of the PDP in the forthcoming elections, noting that better days are ahead with the PDP government in place.

Hajia Sarat advised them to keep their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) safely and should not be deceived to releasing them to anybody or group, stressing that they must not lose their constitutional right to choose candidates of their choice during the elections.

Speaking further, Hajia Sarat called on people of the State to remain steadfast in their loyalty and support for the leadership of Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki in the State. She noted that those waging war against the Saraki dynasty had benefited from the dynasty, describing them as ingrates.

She said many of them claimed that they left the Saraki dynasty because of alleged imposition, “only to be dealt with superior imposition in the APC from Abuja and Lagos lords.”

The LG Service Commission Chairman mocked the APC in the State for its inability to organize a free, fair and peaceful primaries.

Responding, representatives of the two communities applauded Hajia Sarat for her various community development strides in Ibagun including scholarship, educational support for students, empowerment, and provision of motorized boreholes.

They also commended her for facilitating roads and classrooms construction in the areas through the constituency office of the Senate President.

The people pledged their support to the leadership of Dr. Bukola Saraki and prayed for the success of the PDP in the 2019 general elections.
