Saraki: STOP USING QURANIC VERSE TO CAUSE CONFUSION

I have no worry over people’s personal views about the Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki’s Political ideology. Attacking his personality shouldn’t be mingled with the glorious Quran. I urge all analysts to stay away from applying Qur’anic verses wrongly with the sole aim of scoring cheap political points.

Everybody is free to say what he wishes, as guaranteed by the Nigerian constitution which made provision for freedom of expression but applying the verses of the Qur’an wrongly will not only inconsequential but also a sinner with the bad consequence. In fact, those you are wishing to please with the wrong use of the Holy Book will not be able to rescue you of any of it devastating effect.

Bukola Saraki as a two term Governor of Kwara and currently Senate President of Federal Republic of Nigeria has every right to seek for any political office he so wishes.

If the procedure to get the PDP presidential ticket was to use primary election in a situation where there were more than ten candidates from the same party, and he came third with 317 votes, that is personal to him and not your business. In as much as he was aware that the ticket was meant for only one person before joining the race.

No right thinking man should get lost with the figures to the extend of relating it with a Quranic verse not to talk of an aclaimed scholar to toy with the intelligence of the people.

The 317 votes scored by Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki at the PDP Presidential Primary in Portharcourt has nothing to do with “Q31:7”. We need to remind those making the insinuation that an ordinary figure can not be said to be the same with the Holy Scripture. The Alayébaje scholars used be warned to stop toying with the Holy Qur’an.

If you now believe in your level of understanding about the interpretation of Qur’anic verse, you will realize that verse six (Q31:6) of that same chapter of the glorious Qur’an did not just come to the prophet but to make clear certain issues being botressed by the subsequent verse (7) to those who are wise to realize the wisdom of the Holy Qur’an.

It will be a good idea to desist from turning the Qur’an to an ordinary book that can be used the way they like on social media.

If you wish to attack the person of Bukola Saraki, please continue, that is your problem, don’t wage war against yourself and your entire generation because of politics.
The following verses should be enough to be your guard only if you are wise.

Allah says:
Surely those who conceal the clear proofs and the guidance that We revealed after We made it clear in the Book for men, these it is whom Allah shall curse, and those who curse shall curse them (too).

Surely those who conceal any part of the Book that Allah has revealed and take for it a small price, they eat nothing but fire into their bellies, and Allah will not speak to them on the day of resurrection, nor will He purify them, and they shall have a painful chastisement.
(English – Shakir)
(Q2 vs 159 and 174)

For those who just jump to make foolish comments due to ignorance, or those who are copy and paste experts, also need to understand what to copy and what to paste because the Qur’an is not what you can all joke with, or use to achieve your cheap political points. The Qur’an is pure and it can not be an instrument for your dirty politics.

Let’s be guided
