Kwara: Factional APC Gov Candidate Undecided About Implementing N30,000 New Minimum Wage
The factional All Progressives Congress(APC) gubernatorial candidate in Kwara state, AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq is undecided about implementing the N30,000 new minimum wage to the state workers in the state if elected as the governor of the state.
Whereas, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) governorship candidate, Barrister Razak Atunwa, has expressly declared that his government will implement the new minimum wage if elected as the next governor of the state, AbdulRahman said he will wait till he is elected to take a decision if he will pay or not .
The factional APC candidate according to an online publication- Royal news made this disappointing comment on the implementation of the new minimum wage during an illegal rally organised by his group at Pakata area of Ilorin, the state capital.
According to a political analyst ” this is indeed a very bad news and new year message to Kwara workers, their families and the entire people of Kwara state from a man who wants to govern them.
