Towoju Berates Kwarans Calling For The Head of Saraki

Barr. Kayode Towoju who is the immediate past Commissioner for Agriculture in Kwara State and one of the elders from Kwara South Senatorial District has berated some Kwarans condemning the solidarity protest in favour of the Nigeria’s Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki.

He made this point in an online Whatsapp Group consisting of credentialed Kwarans called The Kwara Tabloid Forum. You can read his full comment below:

”There is a popular saying in the Labour unions that an injury to one is an injury to all. My expectation from every Kwaran is for us to rally round the Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki because he is our own. Irrespective of our political differences, what binds us together is greater than our own and personal differences. Kwara is at stake. This is the first time in our political history that a Kwaran will attain the number three position of Senate President.

To me this  is a tremendous achievement on the part of Dr. Bukola Saraki and he needs to be encouraged and appreciated and supported by all kwarans and not to be condemned.

No human being is perfect except God Almighty. The benefits kwara will get from Dr. Bukola Saraki ‘s Senate Presidency can not be quantified.

However, not everybody can go to Abuja to show solidarity to the Senate President. If in our comfort zones we pray in our closets or stage peaceful protests like the one done by the kwara South Youths at Ajase-Ipo, they are all good ways of showing solidarity.

It is Dr. Saraki today, it might be anybody or somebody else tomorrow. Like kwarans imbibe the culture of unity and solidarity. It will serve us   well.”
