Eid-el-Fitr: Senator Rafiu Sues for Peace and Patience

The Senator representing Kwara South in the Nigerian Senate, Distinguished Senator (Dr.) Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim congratulated all Muslim Ummah for the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan.
The Senator urged Muslims not to part with the virtues and lessons of the Holy Month of Ramadan but increase their piety and be more dedicated to the teachings of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
He advised Muslims to continue with the spirit of devotion, charity, tolerance, forgiveness, piety, as the Eid-el-fitr only marks the end of the fast but not of the religion.
Senator Rafiu in his words noted that the state of the economy in the country today calls for patience and prayer; for the good time will surely come with patience from all of us and humility on the part of our leaders.
He specifically called for prayers for the Leader, the Senate President and Chairman 8th National Assembly, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, for Almighty God to take total control and deliver him from the hands of his adversaries.
He therefore called for tolerance and peaceful coexistence in the state and in the country at large.
The Senator prayed to God almighty to accept all acts performed during the month of Ramadan as acts of Ibadah and reward all faithful Muslims in multiple folds.
