​Kwara Govt Committed to Standard and Compliance with Housing Laws – Hon Alalade

The Honourable Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon Muyideen Alalade was on a tour to Baruten Local Government Area to ensure total compliance with the state laws of buildings and filling stations erection across the urban areas in Kwara state. 

In his entourage are the Acting Executive Secretary of TPDA, Alhaji M. S. Giwa, H.O.D. Area Office, Mr. C.O. Oni, and the P.R.O. of Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Mr. Abdulrazaq Yusuf.

In this recent tour to Baruten LG by the ministry of Housing and Urban Development, the state government was committed to the collection of building and filling stations permits. 
The tour to Baruten LG became imperative because it shares boarder with the Republic of Benin, to check and control the excesses of the activities across the boarder along that route. 
The proliferation was also in the spirit of increasing the state’s IGR and to block leakages to further enhance good governance and development in Kwara State by the administration of His Excellency, Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed. 

The team, led by the Honourable Commissioner, Alhaji Muyideen Alalade, also paid a courtesy call on the Emir of Okuta, where the Commissioner sought for the cooperation of the traditional rulers of the area in the revenue drive of the present administration.
Hon. Alalade reiterated the commitment of Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed on delivering infrastructural development to the people of the area despite the current economic recession in the country.
