Women Groups Appreciate Kwara South Senator; Dr. Rafiu Ibrahim
Women groups have shown their appreciation to the Kwara South Senator, Dr. Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim for his love for the women fold, and the women of the ruling All Progressive Congress in Kwara state. This followed the unprecedented involvements of women in not only his recent empowerment programme but other people’s oriented projects.
Speaking on behalf of the Kwaran women, Hajia Saarat Adebayo Ibrahim, the Kwara APC Woman Leader, was full of appreciation to Senator Rafiu Ibrahim for counting it worthy to empower the women to reduce poverty and hardship in the southern part of the state. She further disclosed that Kwara women have always been appreciated and supported unprecedentedly by him right from his time as a state lawmaker and a member of House of Representatives.
She described the Kwara South Senator as one of the followers of the Nigerian Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki (CON) who are toeing his line of women and youths’ empowerment as a way of breeding a saner and economically inclined society.
Hajia Saarat described Kwara South women as being lucky with Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed as the Executive Governor of Kwara State, and Senator Rafiu Ibrahim as the Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial District.
Hajia Saarat in her words, – “It is worth noting that during the 2016 3-in-1 empowerment programme of Senator Rafiu Ibrahim held at ODU Hall, Offa, to mark his golden age, thousands of women among the constituents were part of the beneficiaries of the various items and financial cash support to boost businesses and improve the economic activities in the state.”
The Woman Leader on behalf of Kwara South women, prayed to God almighty to bless, guild and protect the Kwara South Senator, Dr. Rafiu Ibrahim for this and the Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, for his exemplary leadership in the state and in the nation at large.
