The Kwara South Senator, Dr. Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim today Sunday 30th April, 2017 honoured as the Best Grassroot Politician of the Year by the La Veronica Magazine.
The presentation which was done at the Governor’s Apartment, Omole Phase l, Lagos was to mark the fifth years of hard work and celebration of 40th years birthday of the Publisher and Founder of La Veronica Magazine and CEO Vero Kitchen and Interior, Mrs. Veronica Isioma Okei, the sister to Dr. Joe Okei Odumakin.
Senator Rafiu while receiving the Pink Award as the Best Grassroot Politician of the Year, on behalf of his entire constituents in Kwara South, appreciated the organizer for finding him worthy of the award.
The Senator, who was represented at the event by his Personal Assistant, Hon. Shamsudeen Bada, and his Media Aide, Mr. Abdulqadir Abdulganiyu, dedicated the award to the Saraki Political family under the Leadership of the Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki. He stressed that despite the political turbulence, Dr. Saraki remain focused in the legislative business of moving the country forward and rapt attention to the welfare of his people back at home.
The Senator pledged further commitment to his constituency and Kwara at large in his legislative functions, focusing on human capital development across the seven local government areas of his constituency.
