Student Union Honours Senator Rafiu Ibrahim
The leadership of the Students Union Government of the Kwara State College of Education Oro associates with the giants strides of the Kwara South Senator, Dr. Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim, in his legislative functions and his stewardship in community development.
The students leaders made this known during their SUG 2017 1st Leadership Summit held in the school premise on Wednesday, 24th May, 2017.
Senator Rafiu appreciated the students for counting him worthy of the award. He dedicated the award to his entire constituents (Kwara South).
The Senator who was represented at the event by his Personal Assistant, Hon. Shamsudeen Bada, reiterated his commitment to the service of his people.
As part of his educational empowerment programme, Senator Rafiu donated handsomely towards the renovation of the College Auditorium at the Kwara State College of Education (Coed) Oro.
The event had in attendance the Chairman Isin traditional Council, His Royal Highness, Oba Solomon Oloyede, Olusin of Isanlu-Isin, the Provost, Kwara State College of Education, Oro, Dr. Olowonireju Aro, Prof. K. S. Adeyemi, Chairman Governing Council (Rep), Dr. Ogundele Sunday, Hon. Mathew Babaoye, Hon. Kazeem Adekanye, Dr. Iyanda, NAKSS President, SUG Presidents from Offa Poly, and Kwara Poly.
