Ilorin West LG Vice Chairman Convenes Group To Pray For Saraki In Ilorin, Organizes Free Medical Test For People
The Integrity Group of Wara Osin Ward of Ilorin West local government area, a political group comprising all the political forces under the umbrella of the ruling All Progressive Congress in the ward, gathered yesterday, 26th June, 2017, for a thanksgiving prayer to God over the Code of Conduct Tribunal trial of the leader of the party, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki and also harmonize strategies in order to move the ward forward.
The meeting, which was convened by the group’s Board of Trustees Chairman who is also the Vice Chairman/Supervisory Councillor for Finance of the Transition Implementation Committee (TIC) of Ilorin West Local Government Council, Alhaji Ayinde Jimoh, was aimed at appreciating God the Almighty for the vindication of Sen. Saraki from the politically staged case at the CCT and discuss issues that seem to be impediments on the social-political development of the ward, which have consequently been causing the setback of the ward among the comity of wards in Kwara.
Alhaji Jimoh said, “we give thanks to Almighty Allah who accepted all special prayers organized and fasting by the people of Wara-Oshin and entire Kwarans by extension for not only vindicating our leader but also shaming all his political adversaries who perpetrated the political hounding called CCT trial.”
The chairman of the group, Alh Saheed Olanrewaju who is also the party Treasurer of Ilorin West Local Government branch said expressed, as one of their plights and reason why the unity of the ward’s political stakeholders is important, that none of their ward members has access to “Great Hall” which is the haven where the political decisions of the state are taken despite their own undoubted loyalty to the system.
In his remark, the Wara-osin ward chairman who is also one of the members of the Integrity Group, Alhaji Amidu Wara, congratulated the Senate President, Dr. Abubakar bukola Saraki, for well deserved triumph at the Code of Conduct Tribunal and urged all members of the group to see themselves as a team.
Towards the end of the meeting, a free medical test and body massaging was also launched to keep the members of the community fit for their day-to-day activities as fasting in the holy month of Ramadan just ended. That medical exercise then begun with some of the dignitaries and members of the ward.
Amongst the dignitaries who were in attendance are Alhaji Ibrahim Aminu Nda-pkoto from the National Assembly, the Wara-osin Ward Chairman, Alhaji Amidu Wara, other attendees are Alhaji Saheed Olanrewaju, Alhaji Isiaka Amao Egbejila, the Magaji Ogundele, Alhaji Yunusa Wara, Alhaji Abdulraheem Adebayo, Baba Ola, Alhaja Fatubi, Alhaja Omojubi, Alhaji Beki Abdulhamid and many others.
