​Saraki’s Constituency Office Flags Off Distribution of Instructional Materials to Students in Kwara

The Constituency Office of the President of Nigeria Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, today flagged off the distribution of instrumental materials to pupils within Kwara Central Senatorial District.

The distribution exercise, which was maidenly declared open by the Director General of the constituency office, Hon. Abdulwahab Issa, alongside other members of staff of the constituency office and associates of Sen. Saraki, at Oke-Adini LGEA school in Ilorin South Local Government, was a part of the  Capacity Building Programme of the Senate President for his constituents. 

Recall that in the last six (6) months, more than seventy blocks of classrooms have been built across the four local governments; Asa, Ilorin East, Ilorin South and Ilorin West that make up Kwara Central Senator District Sen. Saraki is representing at the Red Chamber of the National Assembly, as part of his School Infrastructure Development Programme, in which forty seven (47) of them have been completed and are ready for the academic benefit of the pupils. It is also worth noting that ten (10) Information and Communications Technology (ICT) centres were built and commissioned by the Senate President at the early stage of this year.

According to the Director General, the scheme includes text books on basic subjects including English, Mathematics, 

Basic Science and Technology, Religious Studies and other instructional materials to help widen the horizons of the pupils. 
After the distribution of the materials to various arms of the school, the distribution train proceeded to Junior Secondary School Iponrin in Ilorin East Local Government of the constituency.
