​#SPUnityCup: NFF, LMC Pledge Strong Support, Laud Saraki’s Support For The Football Umpire

In preparation for the unveiling of the Under-20 National Soccer Tourament tagged: “SENATE PRESIDENT UNITY CUP”, the organising committee had taken their consultations to the climax of soccer management body in the country – the Nigeria Football Federation. The Committee’s visit to Glass House in Abuja has given the tournament a befitting national outlook.
The first stop of the consultations and awareness to the Glass House, the headquarters of Nigeria Football Federation in Abuja, was at the office of the Secretary-General of NFF, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, who pledged the support of the highest football body in Nigeria, in ensuring the success of the SENATE PRESIDENT UNITY CUP.
The Committee paid the all encompass courtesy visit to the League Management Company of Nigeria, the football organization that oversees the affairs of Nigeria National league and Nigeria Premier League.

While at the Glass House, Abuja, the committee stated the need to use the name and the office of the Nigerian Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, to promote national peace and unity, and to harness the potentials of promising youths in the country through sports.

During the consultations tour, the committee visited the office of the Chief Operating Officer of Nigeria League Management Company, LMC, Alhaji Salihu Abubakar; the office of the Special Adviser to the Chairman of the League Management Company of Nigeria, Alhaji Sheu Dikko who also doubles as the Second Vice Chairman of Nigeria Football Federation NFL, Alhaji Dan Bata. 

Alhaji Dan Bata, who received the Organizing Team on behalf of his boss who was out of the Country on national assignment at the time, disclosed that the current Senate President, Sen. Bukola Saraki, is not only a known international lover of football but a promoter of Nigerian football whose monumental supports are pivots to the federation’s success.
The committee also visited Ex Super Eagle International, Mutiu Adepoju, fondly called the ‘Head master’. Adepoju who is also the LMC Laliga Partner and Laliga Ambassador in Nigeria treated the organizers to a warm reception and promised to be fully involved in the tournament. 

The former Real Madrid player, expressed his desire and readiness to support the #SPUnityCup in promoting the peace and unity of the country through this tournament, especially the one of this volume which carries the name of the Senate President.
In all, the committee was advised in all quarters to remain focused and be more proactive, as to record success in the soccer fiesta.
