The Kwara State Government has released its federal allocation figures for the month of September 2017.
The State Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Demola Banu in a statement on Thursday evening, said the State government got a total of N3, 533, 295, 946.57 as allocation for September, against the N2, 539, 578, 771.1 it received in August.
Giving a breakdown of the allocation figures, Banu disclosed that the State government got a statutory allocation of N2, 720, 128, 936.69 and Value Added Tax (VAT) of N813, 167, 009.88, totaling N3, 533, 295, 946.57.
He also announced that the 16 local government councils in the State received a total of N2, 508, 113, 236.17 as allocation for September, against the N1, 857, 345, 628.1 they got last month.
Banu said that the sum was made up of a statutory allocation of N2, 046, 575, 967.83 and Value Added Tax (VAT) of N461, 537, 268.34, making a total of N2, 508, 113, 236.17.
