NANS KWARA, NAKSS, FEKSU PASS A VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON SEN. ABDULRAFIU IBRAHIM

Appreciation is a wonderful thing: It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well. Encouragement motives a better person to do more and in turn makes the society progress. This Joint Press Conference wishes to address the public on the need to appreciate the Kwara South Senator, Dr. Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim and charge him to do more of selfless service. It is visible to the blind, and audible to the deaf that our Distinguished Senator has given much to the students in the development of education in Kwara State.

In the same vein, he has contributed immensely to the progress and attainment of educational standard in our dear Kwara South and beyond. It is then imperative for the leadership of the above associations to come together in a sound voice to echo appreciation.

The betterment of a society, as a collective body, depends on the individuals within it. It then becomes a thing of paramount importance to appreciate those who stood firm and never relented despite hardship and unforseen circumstances, through endurance, perseverance, selfless service, commitments, and enthusiasm, we have confirmed and authenticate Senator Rafiu Ibrahim as a man of the people and father of the Nigerian Students in his constituency, particularly, the outright supports to the Nigerian students in Kwara state are evident and pellucid to the society. Our tenable position today, have shown that we appreciate the leadership of Senator Rafiu Ibrahim and his mentorship role is worthy of emulation.

In addition, his unblemished reputation, leadership sagacity, hospitality, open door policy, philanthropic, kind hearted, articulacy, listening ears and most importantly his integrity have given us hope that with his kind, there is great hope for the Nigerian students.

Our facts are enormous to prove to the world that our own Senator, Dr. Rafiu Ibrahim, is a father and mentor to Nigerian students, as it can be seen in the construction of relaxation centre at University of Ilorin, students empowerment scheme, renovation of Offa Town Hall Library, free SSCE and JAMB registration, sponsorship of students programmes, scholarships, free vocational training, and several others. Without any iota of doubt, we are convinced that his leadership deserves a great applause.

On the basis of above facts, we therefore pass a VOTE OF CONFIDENCE on his Senator Rafiu Ibrahim and we assure him of our all-time supports. We pray that the Almighty God continue to shower his mercies on him.

In conclusion, we call on the entire Nigerian Students in Kwara State to continue the confidence reposed on our amiable Senator and desist from any form of truancy against our benefactor. It is our belief that he will continue his goodwill and passionate character as we assure him of our unflinching supports at all times.
