Alalade Celebrates New Year with his People, Gives Accounts of Stewardship

The Kwara State commissioner for Energy, Honourable Muideen Alalade was in his country home, Ilemonna, Oyun LGA of Kwara State to celebrate the new year with his people.

The commissioner who was in different gathering with women groups, youth associations, and other party faithful, explained to his people the various stewardship of the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed on road construction, provision of water, rural electrification, and other strides to ensure meaning development for the people of the State.

The commissioner appreciated the Governor, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed for the tarring of Ilemona township road, Offa/Ipee road, and Offa/Ilemona/Ira/Oyo state boundary roads within and around his community in Oyun LGA of the State.

He explained that within the last two years as a commissioner from Ilemona ward, he has provided drinkable water for the people of Ago Alaro community, Bororo community, and rehabilitated Ilemona Court borehole and Ajoko community boreholes.

The commissioner in his capacity, as gathered, has equally repaired Ilemona damaged transformer, provided educational support for the indigent students, constructed modern toilets for Oyun Local Government Secondary School Ilemona, plus the facilitation of employment for the youths.

While thanking the women groups and teaming youths for their prayers and support at all times for the Leader, the Nigerian Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, and for the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, he reiterated the commitment of this administration to do more for the people of the area in terms of infrastructural development on provision of energy, roads construction, water, health, and education.

Hon. Alalade noted that Governor Ahmed has priotised the rehabilitation of all the 94 water works in the state, including Oyun, Ilemona, Erin-Ile, Ikotun water works e.t.c in the 2018 budget year.
