Offa Coronation: Oloffa Describes Hon. Ahman Pategi As A Detribalized Kwaran

Over the last weekend, the Hon. Representing Edu/Moro/Patigi at the green chamber of National Assembly Abuja, Hon. Aliyu Ahman Pategi, has been described as a Nupe man with great love for all other tribes in Kwara, by the Oloffa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi, during the coronation ceremony of Alhaji Tajudeen Gbadamosi and his wife as Ajiroba of Offa and yeye Ajiroba of Offa and two other indigenes of Offa as Otun Ajiroba of Offa and Chief Ola of Offa.

Hon. Pategi, who was appointed as a special guest of honour for the ceremony by Oba Gbadamosi, was accompanied to the palace of Oloffa, the venue of the coronation ceremony, by scores of his constituents and cheered by the good people of Offa.

Speaking at the palace a day before the programme, the legislator, in his capacity as the chairman House of Representatives Committee on Water Resources, assured the good people of Offa that the Offa water works and other water resources facilities in the ancient city will be considered for rehabilitation in the 2018 budget.

One of the members of his entourage to the palace, Hon. Amali, who was a former commissioner for Local Government of Chieftaincy Affairs during the reign of Sen. Bukola Saraki as the governor of Kwara state,

described Hon. Aliyu Bahago Pategi is a representative who is committed to the infrastructural development of his constituency and human capacity development of his constituents. Such acts of patriotism resulted in the continuous supports he enjoys from his people which made him the longest serving legislator from Kwara state as he is at the National Assembly for the third term, he added.

The ceremony was witnessed by many important dignitaries from Offa township and beyond which gave the event a beautiful coloration.
