In preparation for the 4th Annual Empowerment Programme of the Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA), the Speaker Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ali Ahmad, yesterday Saturday 10th February, 2018 presented items worth millions of naira to the executives of the association.
The empowerment items included: Free NAPTEB registration for indigent students, complete barbing saloon equipment with generating set, grinding machines, shoe making machines, sewing machines, etc. to empower the students, youths, and women within the Ilorin Emirate Community.
This year’s IEYDA empowerment programme comes up on Saturday 17th February, 2018 at the palace of the Emir of Ilorin by 10am.
The Speaker, while presenting the items, commended the Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association for the annual empowerment programme as a way to complement the government efforts in community development.
He, therefore, restated his commitment and readiness to partner with serious youth associations in community development services.
The executive members, led by the National President Alhaji Abdullah Babatunde Salaudeen and the National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Uthman Muhammad Jagunmon, appreciated Dr Ali Ahmad, for his supports at all times and assured him of judicious shearing of the items across the five local government areas of the Ilorin Emirate.
