The Conference of Female Parliamentarians in Nigeria has bestowed honors on Nigeria’s Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki capping it with a gift over his efforts at ensuring that more women are entrusted with political office.
The presentation of the gift was done recently in Abuja during the meeting of the group.
Presenting the gift to the Senate President, the lawmaker representing Ikole Constituency 11 in Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon. Princess Titilayo Owolabi Akerele who is also the Secretary of the Nigerian Conference of Female Parliamentarians, said all female lawmakers in the country appreciate the efforts of the Nigerian Senate led by Dr. Bukola Saraki in ensuring that more women are encouraged to participate in the next political dispensation.
