The Trade Union Congress (TUC) has commended the Kwara State Government over the efforts to end salary crisis at the Local Government level with the recently accessed N4b loan.
The State Chairman of the TUC, Comrade Kola Olumoh, who described Dr. Abdulfatah Ahmed as a listening governor, explained that the payment of arrears would go a long way to douse tensions among the workers who were being owed salaries.
He added the workers would remain grateful to the Governor for the kind gesture.
Comrade Olumoh also urged the government to ensure the payment of the arrears to all categories of workers without delay.
He, however, tasked the workers to reciprocate the gesture by doubling their efforts in carrying their statutory assignments.
