iPhone 15 Pro Max

Apple’s next flagship phone appears to be the iPhone 15 Pro Max, with the so-called iPhone Ultra possibly being delayed until 2016. The iPhone 15 Pro Max, as the largest and most fully-featured model in the iPhone lineup, has the potential to make a major impression on our best phones list and set a new bar for smartphones to follow.

While we don’t expect significant differences between the iPhone 14 Pro Max and the Dynamic Island, with Apple likely to double down and enhance the Dynamic Island, the speculated upgrades might all add up to a really amazing phone. A powerful new A17 Bionic chip, a periscope zoom camera, a titanium design, and other improvements could be seen.

Date of release of the Apple iPhone 15 Pro

Formerly, the Apple iPhone release date was very reliable. Except from the year 2020, Apple usually announces the latest iPhone on a Tuesday in the second week of September.

The debut date for 2022, on the other hand, was a week earlier and on a Wednesday, putting the iPhone 14 series on 7 September 2022 and making future dates more difficult to forecast.

There have been no definite rumors about the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max debut dates as of yet, and it’s unlikely that there will be for quite some time.

An informed assumption would imply that the gadgets will be disclosed and made accessible in September 2023, although whether the announcement will take place in the first week of September is unknown.

iPhone 15 design: Dynamic Island expands to all models

With the iPhone 15 range, Apple is expected to keep offering four iPhone models. Reports suggest that all versions will have a largely identical appearance, with the exception of the iPhone 14 Pro’s shape-shifting cutout, known as Dynamic Island, which is expected to make its way across all models.

This speculation originates from display analyst Ross Young, who also stated in a September tweet that he does not expect base iPhone 15 models to have a faster refresh rate than Apple’s Pro iPhones since the supply chain cannot sustain it.

Marketing

Marketing is a problem entirely of Apple‘s creating. ProMotion is currently exclusively utilized for Pro-branded goods such as the MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and iPhone Pro. Anything less than renaming ProMotion would certainly confuse consumers and complicate the company’s clearly defined product lines. I believe Apple knows this issue because it hasn’t labeled any technology as “Pro-” since ProMotion debuted in 2017.

None of this helps iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus purchasers, who just want the high refresh rates seen on competitor phones at considerably lower pricing. It won’t change for at least another year, though a redesigned design, a locked-down version of USB-C, and some wacky new colors will be of some comfort.
