According to the Law Society of South Africa, Rustenburg lawyer Zanele Nkosi was shot and killed in front of her workplace.

On March 29, two assailants shot and killed the 38-year-old BLA champion outside of her place of business in Rustenburg, North West.

According to police spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Amanda Funani, Nkosi, 40, passed away on March 29.

“She was walking to her vehicle [and] about to leave her workplace when the two unknown suspects approached her vehicle and shot her,” said Funani.

Nkosi is known to have been dedicated and engaged in the organized legal profession for many years. He participated on various committees of the Law Society of South Africa (LSSA).

According to TimesLIVE, Nkosi died on the scene.
