Full Video: Russian Forces strike at the column of PMC "Wagner"

Russian forces have reportedly conducted an airstrike at at the column of PMC “Wagner”. In a video circulating online, a Russian helicopter struck a wagner column in southern Russia.

Wagner and the Russian ministry of defense have been at odds on how the war in Ukraine has been fought for months.

Wagner had repeatedly charged that the ministry had failed to provide enough ammunition to the mercenary force.

Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, threatened to put an end to an armed uprising after Yevgeny Prigozhin’s personal army took over a southern city in an effort to topple the military hierarchy.

Rostov-on-Don, a city of more than a million people located close to the Ukrainian border, was under the grip of highly armed men from Prigozhin’s Wagner militia in the country’s first armed uprising since the Chechen wars decades ago.

The Wagner troops played a crucial role in the Russian invasion of Ukraine, helping to seize Bakhmut, the scene of the bloodiest and longest battles. Prigozhin, on the other hand, has been more critical of the Russian military’s top brass, accusing them of being ineffective and depriving his troops of ammunition and weaponry.

According to Reuters, Army General Sergei Surovikin, the deputy commander of Russian forces in Ukraine whom Prigozhin has praised in the past, in a separate video said that “the enemy is just waiting for our internal political situation to deteriorate”.

“Before it is too late … you must submit to the will and order of the people’s president of the Russian Federation. Stop the columns and return them to their permanent bases,” he said.
