Nigerian woman arrested in Libya for alleged possession of sorcery and witchcraft paraphernalia
A Nigerian woman was arrested by the Libyan Security Forces (77th Company of the 128th Brigade) for allegedly possessing sorcery and witchcraft paraphernalia.
The woman was apprehended over the weekend in Sokna, a Saharan desert oasis town in southwest Libya’s Fezzan area.
She was taken to the Criminal Investigation Department in Al-Jafra district, where she allegedly acknowledged to “witchcraft and sorcery” with her husband in Sabha under interrogation.
