Woman who shot up California bridge still not charged, ‘under evaluation’ (Photos & Video)

According to officials, the lady who was seen during rush hour on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge firing at passing cars was having a “mental health crisis” and has not yet been charged.

The woman, who has yet to be Identify, is being treated at a hospital but could face multiple charges once she is released, California Highway Patrol Officer Andrew Barclay told The Post.

Fortunately, nobody was hurt, Barclay said. Although it didn’t always appear like she was shooting directly at the automobiles, it appeared as though she was firing toward some of them.

The number of vehicles damaged in the altercation is unknown, but an investigation is ongoing, according to Barclay.

At around 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday, CHP received numerous 911 calls reporting a reckless motorist traveling eastbound on Interstate 80.

According to police, the woman pulled over in the middle of the road, exited her car brandishing a knife, and started screaming at oncoming traffic.

She then got back in her car and headed for Oakland, but she stopped once more at a toll booth. When she did so, according to the police, she did not have any thing on.

The strange occurrence was caught on camera by passing drivers as the woman crossed lanes and continued to shoot at moving cars.

Passing motorists were astounded by the woman’s activities.”Holy sh—, man! The driver can be heard saying, “Oh, my God,” in the footage.
