Zinoleesky Zinonymous Sounds
One of the top signees of Marlian music, Oniyide Azeez professionally known as Zinoleesky has removed Marlian music from his Instagram’s Bio and replaced it with “Zinonymous Sounds,” which is suspected to his soon-to-be-unveiled record label.
Amidst the controversies hitting Marlian music and its boss Azeez Fashola a.k.a Naira Marley after the sudden demise of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba a.k.a Mohbad, many brands and organizations have been dissociating from the Marlian brand.
Zinoleesky found his love of music as he entered adolescence. He began his music career as a freestyle rapper but rose to prominence in 2017 after his videos went viral on the internet.
According to rumors, he was given a record deal by Davido‘s DMW label but declined and preferred to perform as an independent musician. He got signed to the musical label “Marlian Records” on December 23, 2019, which is owned and managed by Nigerian artist Naira Marley.
Zinoleesky released his debut studio album, “Chrome Eccentric,” in 2020, a year after signing with Marlian Records. “Mapariwo” and “Kilofeshe” were among the six songs on the album. Ma Pariwo debuted at No. 14 on the Apple Music Chart and No. 12 on the YouTube Chart in September 2020.
A year after releasing his debut album, Zinoleesky remixed the smash song “Kilofeshe” with Maryorkun and South African artist Busiswah.
He launched his debut EP album “Grit and Lust” in December 2022, which included songs like Call of Duty and YanYanYan.
Recall, Mohbad, 27, died just weeks after petitioning the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Force Criminal Investigation Department in Lagos about alleged life threats made by Sam Larry and thugs who allegedly assaulted him with guns, cutlasses, and other weapons while filming a video with Zlatan.
