PDP Salutes Olosi of Osi at 80

The Kwara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has felicitated with the Olosi of Osi and the chairman, of Ekiti LG traditional council, Oba Saliu Abdulkareem Adasofegbe Arowobeku-1 on his 80th birthday and 34th coronation anniversary.

The party in a statement signed by the state chairman, Rt. Honorable Babatunde Mohammed, commended Kabieesi’s track records of service to Kwara state and his subjects which he described as peaceful, exemplary, and inspiring.

“On behalf of the leadership and members of the PDP in Kwara, I felicitate with our Royal Father and chairman of the traditional council in Ekiti Local Government Area, Oba Saliu Abdulkareem Adasofegbe Arowobeku1, the Olosi of Osi on his birthday and 34th coronation anniversary. At 80, Olosi’s track records of service to Kwara and his domain have been inspiring, exemplary, and enviable.

“In any period of trouble, Oba Olosi always stands out in his application of unrivaled wisdom and his stance to always stand on the side of his people has attracted respect, honour, and dignity to Osi and his environs. His reign of 34 years has also witnessed unprecedented progress and development in the Osi and Ekiti council areas in general.

“It is on this note that the leadership of the PDP in Kwara and all our members join the royal family, the traditional council in Ekiti LG, sons and daughters of Osi, and everyone whose life Kabiesi has touched, to wish him a happy birthday and pray for more years in good health for him on the throne.”
