Video: ‘Boopac Shakur,’ known for pursuing s*xual predators shot to death in Michigan
According to authorities, a Michigan man who posted on social media that he exposed alleged child pedophiles was shot and died after confronting two teens late on Friday night.
Around 10:30 p.m., according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, Lee was at Perry Street’s Universal Coney Island. He allegedly confronted two men who were seated at a table, accusing one of them of being a pedophile, and then punched him.
According to OCSO, after the first man at the table pulled out a knife, the second man at the table pulled a gun and shot Lee many times. Lee was taken to the hospital, where he later passed away from his wounds.

“While we certainly understand his desire to hold child predators accountable, many times well intentioned individuals who engaged in this don’t know the standard of evidence required for convictions and often underestimate the potential for violence confronting a suspected predator,” Sheriff Michael Bouchard said.
“When we have arrested predators in such circumstances, they have rammed police cars and exhibited other violent behavior in attempts to escape,” he said.
