Video: Indian Bihar Cops caught on camera throwing accident victim’s body into canal

Two Indian policemen were caught on camera throwing the body of an accident victim into a canal. The incident took place in the state of Uttar Pradesh, and the video of the incident quickly went viral on social media.

The victim, identified as Dalit, a 22-year-old guy, is seen in the video being dragged by the two police officers to the edge of the canal. The body is then picked up and thrown into the ocean.

A senior police official who admitted the error said that only the body pieces that could not be retrieved were dumped in the canal.

According to NDTV, senior police officer said “It was a very bad accident and all the body parts could not be retrieved. This is why the police had disposed of them in the canal,”.

The two policemen were arrested and suspended from duty after the video went viral.
