An alleged media aid to Great Joshua Maclver, the deputy governorship candidate of APC Bayelsa state was caught with bullets. The mob that caught also dehumanized him and recorded it.
Great Joshua MacIver is a Nigerian politician who is the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 Bayelsa State gubernatorial election.
The Peoples Democratic Party’s nominee for governor, Douye Diri, who is the current governor of Bayelsa State, has been proclaimed the winner of the state’s governorship election, which took place last Saturday.
At the polling place on Monday, Diri was declared the winner of the poll by Returning Officer Prof. Faruq Kuta, who is also the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Minna.
With 175,196 votes, Diri defeated All Progressives Congress candidate Timipre Sylva, who received 110,108 votes, and the Labour Party, with 905 votes.

In a now-viral video, Daumie confesses to the men who caught him that Macciver sent him to the Foinbiri community and asked him to use the weapons there.
“My name is Jonah Daumie. I am from Foinbiri community, Southern Ijaw local govt. I am the special adviser to Great Joshua Macciver on media and public affairs,” Daumie said.
“Joshua Macciver is the deputy governorship candidate of the APC. Today being November 11, 2023, I was arrested with some arms and ammunitions in Foinbiri.”
“I went there on behalf of my boss, Great Joshua Macciver. Foinbiri is my community and I went there to vote. The arms in my hands are used during election activities,” he said.
