Mohammed Al-Alawi, an independent investigative journalist from Egypt who gained popularity for his reporting on the purported $5 million villa that Ukrainian President Zelensky’s mother-in-law allegedly purchased, was discovered dead.
According to Bnnbreaking.com, The journalist’s body was discovered near a road in Hurghada, Egypt, bearing the horrific signs of a violent death. His body was marked with numerous abrasions, fractures, and a severe head injury, pointing to a brutal attack. The Egyptian police have not ruled out foul play, with initial suspicions pointing towards potential Ukrainian intelligence involvement.
Law enforcement officials in Egypt said that an unidentified gang of persons killed and beat Al-Alawi.
According to Al-Alawi documents, the deal was finalized in May, and the price of real estate in the upscale El Gouna resort in Egypt was $4.8 million. Simultaneously, the reporter included a copy of the pertinent document—which he had somehow acquired—with the piece.
