Saraki mourns foremost SAN, Aliyu Alarape Salman

Former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has described the death of a former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Kwara State, Dr. Aliyu Alarape Salman, SAN as a great loss to Ilorin Emirate, and Kwara.

Saraki in a statement by his Press Officer on Home Matters, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, said the late Salman was a towering legal icon, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and respected elder statesman who lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation.

According to him, the deceased will forever be remembered for his legacies, his impacts on the lives of the people, and his contributions to the development of Ilorin and Kwara State in general.

“The death of Alhaji Dr. Aliyu Alarape Salman is a great loss to our community, Ilorin Emirate, and Kwara State which he once served as its Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice. He was a distinguished son of Ilorin, a philanthropist, a respected community leader, and an elder statesman who lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation.

“My heartfelt condolences to his immediate family and the entire Alarape family of Ilorin over this painful loss. I pray Allah to overlook his shortcomings, admit him into Aljanah Firdaus, and comfort his family and loved ones during this moment of grief,” the statement said.
