Islamic Cleric praises Saraki’s generosity, hospitality, before and during Ramadan

As the Ramadan fasting entered its 7th day, the residence of President of the 8th Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, continued to remain the centre of attraction as Muslim faithful visited to attend Tafsir.

The visitors, in their hundreds also had Iftar at the Saraki residence in continuation of the religious tradition which commenced since the start of the annual Ramadan fasting.

On Sunday, Saraki hosted members of the Agbaji community, political supporters, residents of Ilorin and other parts of Kwara State.

Speaking during the Tafsir, famous cleric, Imam Abdulrazaq Aduagba, admonished the Muslim Ummah to endeavor to use the opportunity of this holy month to move closer to Allah and seek for forgiveness.

Imam Aduagba also reiterated the need to be steadfast in loyalty, unity of purpose for development.

The Islamic cleric praised Saraki for his love, generosity and hospitality, especially at this sensitive season.

Saraki, who attended to various groups before, during and after Iftar, thanked them for their presence and promised to always identify with the people.

The former Senate President had since the commencement of Ramadan fast, been hosting various sections of people in their hundreds for Iftar.

The Waziri Ngeri has also directed his gates to remain open to members of the public for Iftar, even in his absence till the end of the month.
