President of the 8th Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki on Saturday, March 16, 2024, held a stakeholder meeting with delegates from the Northern axis of Kwara State, with an assurance to continue to work towards the development of the senatorial zone.
The Northern PDP Stakeholders also had Iftar with the former Senate President at his Ilorin GRA residence.
According to a statement by his Press Officer on Local Matters, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, Saraki at the meeting appreciated the PDP faithful for their love and support always.
He also lauded everyone who against all odds, has continued to stand with and join hands in charting the way forward for the Party.
The Waziri Ngeri restated his dedication to the advancement of Kwara North and pledged not to rest on its oars.
“Please, be assured that this is the beginning of a new face in Kwara North. I will never abandon you and I will continue to do everything within my means for the development of your Senatorial districts.
“The PDP has built more infrastructures in Kwara North despite blackmail from the ruling party. Be assured that we won’t be deterred,” Saraki assured.
Responding, the people expressed appreciation to Saraki for his support and unparalleled leadership. They assured him of their unalloyed loyalty despite the setback of the outcome of the 2023 elections.
