Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer Teniola Apata MON also known by her stage as Teni or Teni The performer prostrated as she met a popular Nigerian socialite, IBD Dende.
“I MEET IBD DENDE FOR PLANE, BABA DON DROP OOOOOOOO!!!! MAKE I LAND FISRT!!!!!! I GO SHARE UPDATE!!!” Teni said on X.
Fargin, Askamaya, and Other Recordings, 2016–2019
While Teni was signed to Magic Fingers Records by Shizzi, she released her debut single, “Amen”.
In 2017, she joined with Dr. Dolor Entertainment after quitting the record company.
Following the release of the single “Fargin” in September 2017, Teni began to acquire notoriety. Her breakthrough came with the release of the hit songs “Askamaya,” “Case,” which Nigerian artist Snazzy the Optimist subsequently adapted as “Upgrade,” and “Uyo Meyo.” On MTV Base’s list of the Top 20 Hottest Naija Tracks of 2018, “Askamaya” came in at number fifteen.
