KWARA PDP ANNOUNCES NOMINEES FOR NORTH CENTRAL ZONAL POSITIONS

The Kwara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially announced its nominees for North Central zonal positions, as designated by the National Leadership of the party.

In a statement issued by the State Publicity Secretary, Olusegun Olusola Adewara, the party revealed that the nominees emerged following a thorough process of consultation and deliberation at the grassroots, local government, and state levels.

The nominees, who reflect the party’s commitment to equity, inclusion, and competence, are as follows:

1. Prince Madandola Olalekan Basir (MOB)
   • Position: Zonal Treasurer
   • Region: Kwara South
   • LGA: Isin
2. Prince Aremu Olota
   • Position: Zonal Ex-Officio
   • Region: Kwara Central
   • LGA: Ilorin South
3. Barr. Issa Abubakar
   • Position: Zonal Legal Adviser
   • Region: Kwara North
   • LGA: Baruten

These nominees, representing all three senatorial districts of Kwara State, have been unanimously endorsed by party members. They will proceed to represent Kwara State at the North Central Zonal Congress, scheduled for January 23, 2025. The venue will be announced by the National Leadership of the PDP.

The PDP expressed gratitude to its members at all levels for their peaceful conduct during the nomination process. The statement also urged members to remain committed to the party’s mission to reclaim Kwara State and serve the people’s interests ahead of the 2027 elections under the #RescueKwara initiative.
