Offa Community Mourns as Saraki Honours the Legacy of Marooph Bintinlaye

Former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki has expressed sadness over the death of Hon. (Alhaji) Marooph Bukoye Bintinlaye, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Kwara State.

Saraki in a statement by his Press Officer on Local Matters, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, in Ilorin, on Wednesday, described the Offa-born business mogul as an irreplaceable asset to the PDP and Kwara State.

He noted that the late Bintinlaye will be remembered for his devotion to Philanthropism and immeasurable contribution to the political development of the State, particularly his hometown, Offa, and the Ojomu/Balogun Constituency.

Saraki commiserated with the family of the deceased, friends, associates and the PDP family. He prayed to Allah to grant the deceased peaceful and eternal rest.

“I received with great sadness, the news of Hon. (Alhaji) Marooph Bukoye Bintinlaye’s passing.

“An Offa-born chieftain of our great party, @OfficialPDPNig, Hon. Bintinlaye was a respected politician, a successful business mogul, and a devoted humanitarian who contributed greatly to the political development of Kwara State— particularly in his hometown, Offa, and the Ojomu/Balogun Constituency.

“As we mourn the loss of this illustrious son of Offa, I extend my heartfelt condolences to Hon. Bintinlaye’s family, friends, political associates, the entire PDP family, and everyone who mourns this loss.

“May Almighty Allah (SWT) grant him a place in Aljannah Firdaus.
