Emirate Youths Appreciate Saraki for the Inclusion of Community Development Associations in Governance

The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association *(IEYDA)*, a non political youth association, under the auspices of the Emir of Ilorin which comprises the community development associations across the five LGAs of the Ilorin Emirate strongly and most sincerely appreciates His Excellency, the Distinguished President of the Nigerian Senate, Alhaji Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki for his listening ear on our demands on the rate of youth unemployment and the need to get the youth engaged to improve the socio, political and economic activities in the state.

In his response to us, on several occasions, he had promised to get back to us on several demands for the development of our community. We are glad to have received his good response with Two Slots of Federal Employments and 52 from the newly appointed 165 Assistant Legislative Aides in all the 52 Wards across the Kwara Central Senatorial district. The 52 of the Assistant Legislative Aides, which is first of its kind, are basically for non political community development associations under the Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA).

We are most sincerely glad and grateful to the President of Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki for this singular opportunity to make youths from across the development associations to participate in governance in their own state without political interference.

We, the entire members of the Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association, appeal to other sons and daughters of the Emirate to take as paramount the development of our community through the engagement of our youth, artisans, and aged with educational support, scholarships, employments, empowerments and patronising indigenous artisans within the Ilorin Emirate community.
