At least six people are dead and numerous others, including a Pennsylvania state policeman, are injured as a result of the shootings this past weekend.
Over the Memorial Day weekend, at least 17 shootings in at least 17 different cities throughout the US resulted in a total of 13 fatalities and 79 injuries. This started a trend of successive weekend mass-casualty occurrences.
Mass shooting has recently become rampant in the US. The year 2022 saw a rise in mass shooting incidence in the US.
Authorities reported that a shooting at a Dallas-area outlet mall resulted in the death of nine individuals, including the perpetrator, and panicked customers running for their life.
According to Allen Fire Department Chief Jonathan Boyd, seven people died at the Allen Premium Outlets and two more were declared dead at a hospital.
