One day after receiving an Australian partner visa, an Australian woman alleges her ex-husband in the United States abandoned her.

The now 31-year-old Isabelle Glastonbury first encountered Michael* in Dallas in 2015, and the charismatic Texan immediately captured her heart.

“He ghosted everyone. All of our mutual friends, the best man from our wedding and his own family, no one knew where he was,” she told the publication.

They celebrated their union in a lavish Palm Beach wedding that cost $50,000 and was purportedly paid for by her family.

According to Dailystar.co.uk, Isabelle claims her husband didn’t just disappear from her life – he “ghosted” their friends too.

Before moving to Australia in 2018, the couple originally connected in Texas in 2015.

Glastonbury regrettably claimed that “so many people reported him to immigration and nothing happened” with regards to the legality of him fleeing after obtaining the partner visa.
