PDP Receives Resignation Notice From Kwara North Senatorial Chairman, Hon Shuaibu Jimoh

The Kwara State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has acknowledged the receipt of formal notice of resignation from Honourable Shuaibu Baba Jimoh, the Kwara North Senatorial Chairman of the party who had served diligently in that capacity since 2022.

Hon Shuaibu, as contained in the resignation letter duly received on behalf of the party by its State Secretary, Mr Kayode Abdullahi, he said his resignation followed his aspiration to assume another role within the party, in line with ongoing restructuring in the party to fit into the public expectation of a truly democratic platform.

As contained in his resignation letter, he expressed gratitude to all members of Rt Hon Babatunde Mohammed led State Working Committee and extended his deepest appreciation to the leader of the party and former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, CON, for the huge support he enjoyed in the office.

The party, while appreciating Hon Shuaibu Baba Jimoh for his diligent services and also making it known to him that his resignation letter will receive due attention from the party, wished him all the best in his future endeavors.
