Saraki Commiserates with Emir of Ilorin, Laaro Family over the Passing of 11th Balogun Gambari

The President of the 8th Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has commiserated with the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on the death of the 11th Balogun Gambari of Ilorin Emirate, Alhaji Abdulkareem Laaro Buhari.
Alhaji Laaro, the 11th Balogun Gambari of Ilorin, died on Friday at the age of 97 and has since been buried according to Islamic rites in Ilorin.
Saraki who is the Waziri Ngeri of Ilorin also condoled with the immediate family and the entire Balogun Gambari community over the demise of the 11th Balogun Gambari of Ilorin Emirate.
In a condolence message signed by his Press Officer on Home Matters, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, the ex-Senate President described the death of Alhaji Abdulkareem Laaro Buhari as a great loss to the family, and the entire Ilorin Emirate community.
He stated: “The death of Alhaji Abdulkareem Laaro Buhari, the 11th Balogun Gambari of Ilorin is a great loss to the family and the entire Ilorin Emirate community. He will be missed for his leadership traits, community development roles, and counsel to all and sundry.
“Alhaji Abdulkareem Laaro was a father, religious, and community leader who lived a fulfilled life in the service of his Creator and humanity.
“I pray that Allah (SWT) comforts his immediate family members, the Emir of Ilorin, and the entire Ilorin Emirate at this moment of grief. May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljanah Firdaus,” he stated.
