Kwara Gov Mourns Chief of Staff
In a solemn announcement, the Governor of Kwara State has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of his Chief of Staff, Prince AbdulKadir Mahe. The Governor confirmed that Prince Mahe passed away on the morning of December 28, 2024, in what he described as a moment of total submission to the will of Allaah.
“I mourn the death of Prince AbdulKadir Mahe, a perfect gentleman, community leader, urbane public servant, and a statesman,” the Governor stated.
The Governor extended condolences to the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari; Prince Mahe’s immediate family; government establishments; and cabinet members. He also appealed for understanding from the public during this period of mourning, as both the government and family grieve the loss of the esteemed public servant.
In his statement, the Governor prayed for Allaah to accept Prince Mahe’s return, ease his accounts, grant him al-Jannah Firdaus, and uphold his family in goodness during this difficult time.
