PDP Congratulates Elected Zonal Party Officials from Kwara
…Commends Delegates, Leaders for Successful North Central Zonal Congress
The Kwara State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has congratulated its four outstanding members who emerged victorious at the just concluded North Central Zonal congresses of the party, held in the city of Jos, Plateau State.
We celebrate the election of:
- Prince Madandola Olalekan Bashir (MOB) from Isin Local Government as the Zonal Treasurer, having polled 523 votes;
- Abubakar Issa from Baruten Local Government as the Zonal Legal Adviser, also with 523 votes;
- Aremu Abdulraheem Olota from Ilorin South Local Government as Zonal Ex-Officio Member, with 510 votes; and
- Issa Kayode from Moro Local Government as National Ex-Officio Member, with 510 votes.
Their elections, which are all unopposed at the congress are not only a testament to the credibility and strength of our representatives but also a reflection of the trust reposed in the leader of PDP in Kwara, HE Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki (CON) by the entire North Central family of our great party.
While wishing our elected party officials great success as they take on critical responsibilities that will shape the future and fortunes of the PDP, we enjoin them to put the interest of Kwara first in their undertakings.
We extend our profound gratitude to the leader of our party in Kwara, the President of the 8th Senate, His Excellency Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki (CON), for his tireless leadership and support — not just to Kwara State but to all states within the North Central zone. His commitment was instrumental to the peaceful conduct and overall success of the convention.
We also appreciate the warm hospitality and support of the Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Caleb Mutfwang, whose role in hosting the convention provided the enabling environment for a smooth and successful exercise.
To all the Local Government Party Chairmen, Senatorial chairmen , Stakeholders, and the entire Kwara PDP delegation, we express our sincere gratitude for your active participation, unity of purpose, and seamless collaboration with the Rt. Hon. Babatunde Mohammed-led State Working Committee in ensuring Kwara’s resounding success at the Convention.
