Dr Mmerika Ntshani, also known as Dr Pashy claims that TK Nkwana (Thabo Bester) told her that some of the funds were for Oprah Winfrey’s private plane to travel to a conference on women’s empowerment in South Africa.
Dr. Pashy claims that she was duped into dealing with notorious Facebook rapist and convicted killer Thabo Bester by false claims that she would be working with Oprah Winfrey, a well-known US media mogul.
Magudumana is accused of assuming her identity during her daring escape with Bester. Dr. Pashy’s two passports were discovered on Magudumana when she was apprehended in Tanzania.
As one of the several names he allegedly employed, Magudumana is said to have presented Thabo Bester to Dr. Pashy as TK Nkwana.
“I gave her permission to give TK my number and he called me. He said he was TK Nkwana a South African businessman who’s now based in the US and he said he had good relationships with the likes of Oprah Winfrey as he was also the part of the team that was organising her coming to SA for the Global Citizens.”
Dr Pashy says Bester swindled her of millions. She says the infamous duo defrauded her of an undisclosed amount of money through fraud and forgery.
“I can’t at this point disclose how much was paid because this matter is under investigation and the police are checking the movement of that money. And I’m still in consultation with the lawyers in terms of the criminal charge. I laid a criminal case and we are busy with the civil case to try recover the funds. I can confirm that yes it’s millions.”
However, Nandipha Magudumana’s fight for freedom has failed.
Judge Philip Loubser of the Free State High Court found on Monday that she had given her agreement for South African Home Affairs officials to remove her from Tanzania so that she may return home “to be with her children.”
When she and convicted rapist and murderer Thabo Bester were turned over by Tanzanian authorities to South African authorities, Magudmana alleged in court documents that she had been “abducted,” blindfolded, and the victim of a “disguised extradition”
