At a handover ceremony in Kano state today, May 29, a dramatic moment was captured when Abba Kabir Yusuf, the new governor of the North-West state, declined to sit on a chair used by Abdullahi Ganduje, his predecessor.
Online users are sharing a video of him removing the chair and replacing it with another for the meeting of the day. This follows his commitment to look into the debt acquired during Ganduje’s presidency.
There has been high tension between both parties during and after election. The ruling party APC lost Kano state to Kwankwanso led NNPP .
