Ben Brody, a Patriot Front member at UCR, was recognized after being unmasked by Proud Boys after a scuffle at a demonstration in Portland.
Proud Boys were shown fighting and revealing Patriot Front members’ faces in the viral video.
They are not all white, and they have a history of engaging in bloody political brawls.
In a series of violent street protests over the past two years, most notably in Oregon, Washington, and New York, the Proud Boys and associated groups have clashed with antifa. For assaulting antifa activists in New York, two members were sentenced to prison last year.
